About myself

Xinhui Huang holds the position of Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Maine. He successfully earned his Ph.D. in Finance from Texas A&M International University, an institution accredited by AACSB, in December 2023. In 2018, Xinhui achieved an MBA in Finance from Lawrence Technological University, and he completed his Bachelor of Economics degree at Liaoning Technical University in 2016.

Xinhui’s primary research interests are centered on corporate finance, corporate governance, and corporate investments. He also demonstrates a strong commitment to interdisciplinary research, particularly in the realms of blending accounting and finance and exploring labor economics. Xinhui has a record of publishing numerous papers in esteemed journals, focusing on topics such as corporate investment and corporate finance.

In terms of teaching, Xinhui’s primary interests are in the fields of corporate finance and financial management. His teaching philosophy places a high emphasis on a student-centric approach.
